The Energy of Ayurveda & Yoga​

Ayurveda, Ayur means "life", "Veda" means knowledge, Ayurveda is the knowledge and science of life, and is a complete medical and health care system from ancient Indian texts.

​​

Ayurveda believes that personal health is affected by season changing, environment, lifestyle, eating habits and thinking patterns, and then forms a dynamic integration of physiology, psychology and spirituality. Therefore, preventing disease and maintaining health are the main axes of Ayurveda.

Through Tri-Doshas principle formed by the five elements of nature (earth, water, fire, wind, and space) , Ayurveda eliminates the problems caused by modern life, including unhealthy diet, sensory abuse, and the effects of environmental pollution. Ayurveda focuses on the healthy state of the body's basic energy, organ tissues, metabolism, digestion, and excretion.

 

Ayurveda also encourages people to maintain physical and mental health and self-healing through the practice of traditional yoga, asanas, pranayamas, and meditation. Under the life principles of Ayurveda, the body will be cleansed inside and outside, and it is more suitable to practice subtle yoga practices, including asanas, pranayamas, and meditation.

Ayurveda and traditional yoga integrate each other to achieve the innate recovery energy of the individual.
 

This is an inner journey. Sudhir Tiwari, a sincere yoga practitioner and teacher, invites you to join the spiritual journey .

Features of the retreat

1. ​Relaxed and aware Ayurveda and yoga travel: maintaining personal physical, mental and spiritual health through ancient Indian wisdom in response to contemporary lifestyles, seasonal changes and dietary habits.

2. Ayurvedic cooking sessions: Sudhir Tiwari, who loves cooking, will teach you step by step how to make delicious and healthy Ayurvedic food with Indian ingredients available in Taiwan.


3. The pulse check and individual consultation: All participants will have pulse check and individual consultation with Sudhir Tiwari to design your own Ayurveda lifestyle and yoga practice based on your personal physical and mental status.

4. The whole journey is conducted in the most mysterious resort in Taiwan - Small Rainforest Resort which can't be searched on Google map . It's located in the countryside of Jiaoxi Yilan northeast Taiwan, only 75 minutes car driving from Taipei, and Jiaoxi is the town with the special carbonated hot spring only exists Taiwan and Italy. You can get away from the city, close to the earth, take root in energy, and explore the balance and harmony of body and mind.

5. The retreat course can be included in the YA Yoga Alliance 30 CE continuing education credit certificate.​​

​About Sudhir Tiwari

Sudhir’s initiation into yoga happened under the guidance of Swami Digambar ji, a disciple of Swami Kuvalayananda and his father Shri Om Prakash Tiwari.

His goal is to present yoga not just as asanas but as an experiential practice encompassing but not limited to Yamas, Niyamas, Asana, Pranayama and meditational techniques, mantra yoga and techniques of ishwar pranidhana of Patanjali.

Sudhir now travels all around the world conducting workshops in theory and practice of Yoga, asana, traditional pranayama, meditation, chanting and Ayurveda and with his familiarity of alternative western medicine he also correlates these disciplines. His Mantra, Breathe Positive, Breathe Yoga.​
